Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has broken with members of her far-left 'squad' of Democrat lawmakers to condemn the 'unacceptable' Pro-Palestine rallies in NYC.
'It should not be hard to shut down hatred and antisemitism where we see it,' AOC said in a statement Monday. 'That is a core tenet of solidarity. The bigotry and callousness expressed in Times Square on Sunday were unacceptable and harmful in this devastating moment.'
A pro-Palestinian mob took over Times Square on Sunday - just one day after terrorist organization Hamas launched its assault on Israel that has left more than 1,000 people dead.

I don’t understand the politics of this.
Hearing these news accounts, you can get the impression that liberals are in favor of Hamas and Palestinian terrorism, because of alleged crimes of Israel.
And on the other hand, I get the impression that conservatives support Israel and are aghast at the terrorist acts of war against civilians.
I don’t get why liberals, even if they support a Palestinian state, would be ok with the slaughter of innocents, but that seems to be how many look at this.
One would hope both liberals and conservatives would condemn death and destruction, but apparently not all liberals can do so.

I’ve often wondered that, with a degree in economics from Boston University, and being a “woman of color” as they say, she should have been a prime candidate for jobs besides being a bartender. Her background seems very strange that way.
Is she one of these people who rejects “Corporate America” so didn’t want some job in the business world? But in that case, wouldn’t she have had some jobs in non profits or other organizations that are doing some sort of charitable functions????
Yes, I have wondered too, how a theoretically well educated college grad, a woman and a minority, would be a bartender.
She doesn’t mean it, it’s just optics.
Her first response was her true thoughts and impressions.
There is no “growth” with these people, just manipulation.
She’s only backtracking to protect her seat from people who are now highly motivated to remove her.
