I wouldn’t vote for a Democrat for dogcatcher. ‘Burn It Down’ is popular with some Freepers, but it’s not going to win any elections. Ufortunately the Dems are the only party with a united front and with a plan for America. It’s a terrible plan, but right now all Republicans can do is virtue signal and stab each other in the back. Trump could well win the election in 2024 and face a Dem Senate and Dem House.
Hern's not bad at all if you go by his voting record. I like voting record + being outspoken and not being cowed by the media controllers or the GOPe. So I might prefer Byron Donalds more (and someone like Andy Biggs the MOST).

While some of you see this process as broken, it is actually functioning exactly how the Founders wanted it to work. Leading, in government, shouldn’t be easy (or worse, guaranteed) for any involved. I also think that going through this process can be possibly helpful in healing the divisions in the Pub body.
This, is beginning to look like a painful joke.
