If these guys can’t win, Trump can’t either. Maybe they will be able to agree on Jim Jordan even though he came 2nd in the Caucus - he has experience and is an effective communicator.

Exactly, its what I have also said since the beginning of this mess.
If Trump doesn’t become Speaker imminently, we will continue our Republican self destruction and tear each other apart to a point of no return. This means the Democrat would take over.

Similarly, the chances of Mister Trump getting a majority of the House votes for SOTH is zero.
The reason for Mister Trump to even consider such a candidacy is odd.
Why would anyone set themselves up for an unnecessary failure?
Why would anyone who cared for our wonderful Country sow division in the House GOP when we need unity now, more than ever?
