In 1944, with Russian troops massed outside of Warsaw, Russian radio urged the citizens to rise up to aid the liberation. When Polish partisans rose up, the Russians stood back and let the Germans annihilate the local resistance for them. After a couple of weeks they marched in with their own pro-Moscow government ready, ignoring the legitimate Polish government in exile in London.

Those Chechens are being sent to Ukraine to do the dirty work that Islamist are known for. It would not look good for Putin if he supported Israel. Therefor he needs to throw a carrot to Erdogen and Iran in exchange for supporting his “special operation” in Ukraine.
