Did we ever get his sex trafficking scandal resolved or is that still looming?

Are you referring to the people exposed as blackmailers who wanted a payoff from Gaetz and his father?

Yes, that was resolved.

Mitt Romney is still fighting against Trump, even though he is resigning. Romney is still leading the RINO coalition. We should change the name to RRINOs, Romney Republicans In Name Only.

This is ALL Gaetz doing. He collaborated with Hakeem to take out the Republican majority. Gaetz is about himself. Did we ever get his sex trafficking scandal resolved or is that still looming?

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

all gaetz would have to do is go to the US Congressional sexual abuse slush fund to get that cleaned up.

I guess there’s something left in there after morning joe , gary condit; barney frank, dennis haspert; eric swallowell; pierre delecto; carlos danger; pedo joe all dipped in there?

Yes.

Actually, both guys are acceptable to a lot.

Gaetz said he could support Scalise.

Once you do away with the principle that the entire GOP caucus supports the GOP nominee for Speaker, you’re basically screwed. Everyone whose candidate loses the Speaker nomination will refuse to vote for the winner on the floor. Result at best is paralysis... at its worse, Dems end up in in a power sharing arrangement with the help of a few GOP members.

When Nancy Pelosi had a 5 seat majority, she may as well have had a 50 seat majority because her entire caucus did whatever they were told.

So it wasn’t about McCarthy breaking every promise he made to get the speakership?

Who knew?

"They know if the news ever gets told they will be spending the rest of their lives in prison or exile, constantly looking over their shoulder for an assassin."

I can believe that.. Most of the DC Lawyers are as crooked as a dog's hind leg.. They have been bought and sold so many times even THEY don't know who owns them...

“When Nancy Pelosi had a 5 seat majority,”

Nancy knew how to be a leader and McCarthy didn’t have a clue.

As an autocratic style leader Nancy used the carrot and stick approach. For those that don’t know, the Carrot and stick approach is simple to do. You have a stick and you hang a carrot from it, her people either took the carrot or found out what the stick was for and you don’t even want to know what Nancy’s stick was like.

He only needs 5-(only 433)-afraid it would be the kiss of death if even the worst rino voted for him. Sensible thing to do was pass the motion requiring 217 for the nomination. Jordan 94% conservative-Scalise 58%-If not Jordan, who?-

Trying to get to to 217-Gaetz supported Scalise also. So much for unity. Hakeem is rock solid w/212.
