Rep. Gus Bilirakis, R-Fla., a Jordan supporter, is away from DC until 6 p.m. on Tuesday because he is attending a family funeral.

Sorry—didn’t see this.

These guys are trying to emerge. McCarthy gave little quarter to Jim Jordan’s committee goals. He’s being broken ree of the shackles and can not say so and hope to win out.

Just pray that the *TRY” is rewarded.

If any Republicans vote to allow Jeffries to be Speaker then we have no party and these individuals need to be run out of town. The Democrats would NEVER allow that to happen to one of theirs.

Yes Congressman, you deployed, as a chair warmer.

Oh, come on. He served. It was honorable service. He did not mischaracterize that service.

Not everyone serves in a combat arms branch.

In our constitutional system, the role of a representative in the House is to represent his constituents. What he is doing is not honorable.

His nomination speech is full of attacks on Jordan, something Lisa Stefanick didn’t do. She didn’t attack Jeffries. Now he’s attacking Trump. That’s Democrats for you. Bipartisan he says. What a joke.

Ugh. There are few things more painful than listening to those bloviating sacks of crap blathering on about how much they care about the citizenry.

FYI, if anyone doesn’t want to watch via c-span, you can use this link: https://live.house.gov/

Dems have 212 total so unlikely 216 will materialize, but Jim probably can’t get that either on the first ballot. Let’s go!

Only Jordan and Jeffries have been nominated. Those are the choices, other than abstention.
