Oct 17 (Reuters) - U.S. law firm Davis Polk & Wardwell on Tuesday rescinded job offers to law students who signed on to public statements supporting Palestine in the wake of Hamas’ deadly attacks in Israel, following a similar move by fellow law firm Winston & Strawn last week.
Davis Polk's managing partner, Neil Barr, told members of the New York-based firm on Tuesday that it had revoked job offers to three law students in leadership positions at Harvard and Columbia university groups that issued statements regarding to the latest wave of violence in the Middle East, according to an internal email obtained by Reuters.

With tensions exploding over Gaza on campuses across the country, NYU Law student Ryna Workman lost their position as student body president and a job offer.
Good news for a change.
About time. These pigs didn’t just appear. More of a case that these law firms turned a blind eye to these animals and then rescinded when it got too public.
I don’t think any of them really wanted those jobs anyway. They’re all headed to Europe to galivant around the continent with a backpack, a cellphone for selfies and a water bottle after they graduate.
The “their” pronoun really hinders readability.

Good!

Right. Why should you hire someone who hates you and wants you dead?
I didn’t think of that.
Not to stereotype East Coast Law Firms, but if a retard hates the Jewish people, then maybe they ought not to apply at any law firm.
People are calling this “conservative censorship” and saying “you demand free speech, but now don’t allow it.”
Not really
First of all these are private actors. They can hire who they want. Maybe some of their large customers are Jewish or Israeli and it would be deleterious to their business
Second, Left wing organizations (usually government-funded, because private businesses who are radical leftists are extremely rare) exercise the same rights (often using public money) against conservatives
Third. These Harvard snowflakes are trained in the hypocrisy of our elites - play radical, play revolutionary, play avant garde, but expect and demand the security, financial and status of America’s fixed ruling class.
The students can feel superior in their virtue signalling as they put fries in the basket at their after graduation jobs.
DON’T know this firm-—but MY KUDOS.
Hope it spreads.
The law student didn’t hate the money.
Don’t hire leftists either.
No problem!! The US Government will hire them all. They have the exact background the Obama/Biden government agencies seek!!!
The students did them a big favor by making the statements. Way easier to not hire them in the first place then to get rid of them once they are in the gates.
Davis Polk was one of my customers back in the 90s and when they rescinded job offers to law students, they sent a multi-million dollar warning to stupid Harvard Law potential lawyers.
Davis Polk is one of the super top law firms in the WORLD and those stupid kids just pissed multi-millions of dollars down the drain.
For all of the bud light warnings over some guy dressing up as a woman, that was nickel dime {based on sales of a case of bud piss water} compared to the hell-message that these "law students" will have to go through at home with daddy money bags, some will commit literal suicide.
Any job offer from a Davis Polk type of law firm is super rare, and once you've been selected and then PUBLICLY REJECTED, that is the mark of the devil, and will be a stain forever.
Students at any Ivy League type school will be pissing their pants, and the number of hamas supporters will be the hired folks that carry the signs, not the people that pay for the sign carriers.
Daddy money bags will clamp down on his loud mouthed off spring that has had free reign until this latest event.
Hoorah for a law firm, and I HATE ALL LAWYERS.
Educrats love radical Marxist ideals.
Meanwhile, in the real world....
