Men hit on women… no not all women want to be hit on, but hardly is that an assault of some sort.
Women offering other women an “out” when someone is bothering them is pretty much just looking out for each other.
Think way too much being made out of this
I think it was smart of the employee. Most likely, everything would’ve been OK, but you just never know...
Big Brother and 1984 is a creation of the female, the more they spread out from the home in mass numbers since the 1960s, the more Orwellian life becomes.
The barista acted properly. He/she was looking out for her.
We do need more of that. Give this barista a promotion!
Been a long time since I heard anything in the “feel good” category related to Starbucks....
If women find you unattractive you are creepy, but if they find you attractive the rules change in a hurry....
The average guy often has no clue where he falls on that spectrum since he has not given it much thought.
One takes what one can get. There are few elegant, non-vulgar, non-tattooed, well-spoken, traditional, gentle-women out there. They are almost an extinct species.
So young guys settle for women who at least don't hate men.
So the reverse is okay then?
Three thoughts:
1) It was probably nice for the barista to check in and see if help was desired.
2) Women should not strut around and act all “empowered” if they can’t handle a man approaching them in a coffee shop.
3) Women should not strut around and act all “empowered” if they depend on strangers to intervene and rescue them from awkward situations.
Feminism has convinced many women that they are powerful. What I see are a lot of weak, fragile neurotics who can’t function in perfectly normal situations.
I didn’t say that. I said men and women are different. However, you seem to be defending aggressive behavior by a strange man toward a girl. Why is that?

Hard to know what to do unless you are there.
I was at a hotel in CA when an pretty hot woman and a sleezy guy entered hotel.
In my mind its said 90% chance client and worker.
Entered my room and 15 min later the two were in the hall exchanging insults.
I could have ignored it but decided to open the door, ask woman if she was ok.
She said “no” and needed help.
I said “go into my room, close the door and I will get the manager”
All ended well and I wasn’t shot but sometimes you know what is the right thing to do.
And what would the counter person do if the woman was being hit on by another woman? Would she even notice?
