Now that they’ve switched to Nikki, hopefully the Trump-only Republicans will stop maligning DeSantis as a RINO.
DeSantis is owned by the establishment donors, as are all the establishment politicians, and that is why Trump even exists.
What the establishment donor class want, is not remotely where the base is... The party is completely out of touch... and you can try to pretend Desantis isn’t owned by them, but his actions speak the truth.
None of the establishment folks will EVER EVER fight for the base, because they are owned by the Cheney donor class.
