Israeli officials say that they executed an aerial strike on a mosque inside Gaza that was being used as a command center for terrorists who were preparing to carry out “a significant and imminent terror attack.”
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said it launched the attack on the command center located under the Al-Ansar Mosque early Sunday local time in conjunction with Shin Bet, an Israeli intelligence agency.
“In a joint IDF and ISA activity, the IAF conducted an aerial strike on an underground terror compound in the Al-Ansar mosque in Jenin,” the IDF said in a statement. “The mosque contained a terror cell of Hamas and Islamic Jihad terror operatives who were organizing an imminent terror attack.”
The statement said that these were the same terrorists who were responsible “for several terror attacks over the last months.”
“Intel was recently received which indicated that the terrorists who were neutralized were organizing an imminent terror attack,” the statement added. “The mosque was used by the terrorists as a command center to plan the attacks and as a base for their execution.”
The tunnels under the mosque were used to store vast quantities of various weapons, according to images released by the IDF.

Israel increased targeted air strikes in norther Gaza on Saturday to continue softening up terrorist strongholds before ground forces move in.
Israel also pounded Hezbollah terrorists on the Israel-Lebanon border after the Iranian-backed terrorists continued to launch small scale attacks on Israeli forces.
Jenin is West Bank.

Of course Hamas was trying to hide operations in and under a mosque. I am sure they are doing the same thing with schools, hospitals and residential buildings too.
They are cowards and think nothing of using any human biengs as human shields. When it is their own people and those people get killed, Hamas just calls them martyrs.

Secondaries?
No vast storage of munitions unless secondaries.
We need more secondaries.

Ping me, please.
In this context, “neutralized” is always a good word.
“Jenin is West Bank.”
Yes, it is.
“Jenin is West Bank.”
Yes, it is.
I keep wondering what Hezbollah will do if Israel launches a ground attack against Gaza?
Will they retaliate with a large and sustained rocket barrage against northern Israel?
Or are they wondering if the US will come in and start striking their missile sites and installations in southern Lebanon?
Has Israel or the US contacted the Syrians and said “You guys are major enablers of Hezbollah. If they start launching against us, we’re gonna start hitting a number of sites in your country”. You may wanna have a word or two with Hezbollah”.
Israel has perfected’Runway penetrating bombs’. They delay detonation til they bury deep in the concrete - I assume they are using this type of weapon
What I’m hearing (open sources) is Israel seems to be concentrating on Hezbollah right now. Trying to bloody their nose before hand. The ground phase may not start for weeks
Waiting for the Squad members to come out yelling.
Why are US Special forces not going in to rescue American hostages from these monsters?
Might as well take out all the mosques, just to be sure.
Jenin is not in Gaza
Mogadishu
After the Jordanian invasion and annexation of the West Bank from 1948-67, tens of thousands of Jordanians moved into "Jenin" and Israel's ruling leftists stupidly failed to repatriate them when the West Bank was liberated in 1967.
Make Jenin Shechem Again.
Because this isn’t a mission for US Special Forces. The terrain would swallow them up before they knew where to look.
First thought was Al-Aqasa...
Wonder what’s under That ???
