Donald Trump has repeatedly in his political career demonstrated an ability to make terrible personnel decisions.
Lindsay Graham was 100% the lackey of John McCain. McCain despised Trump and did everything in his power to hurt Trump. McCain was a primary figure in the Russia collusion hoax. During the last weeks of his life he dramatically flew from Arizona to DC where he made a spectacle in the Senate of casting the vote preventing Obamacare from being repealed. McCain dissed the voters of Arizona and the American people to deprive Trump of a political win.
Trump should know if you sleep with dogs you have fleas. Yet he trusts Lindsay. Just as he trusted Chris Christie. Given his abysmal track record in choosing people it is difficult to see how Trump is going to staff an effective executive branch should he win a second term.
