Lindsay Graham led a delegation of US Senators....5 Repubs and 5 Dems.... to Israel. Maryland Democrat Ben Cardin, Rhode Island Democratic Jack Reed, Alaska Republican Dan Sullivan, Richard Blumenthal, Democrat of Connecticut, Susan Collins (Maine Republican), Cory Booker (New Jersey Democrat), and Katie Britt (Alabama Republican).

They met with Israeli Opposition Leader Yair Lapid (center)
who asked them for a military foreign aid package.

Yeah, ol’ Linda went with the worst, most unpatriotic libtards in the Senate, people who hate Israel. You’re known by the company you keep, Linda. I have completely written you off as anyone worth knowing about.

“who asked them for a military foreign aid package.”

Of course.

Sadly, unlike Ukraine, Israel is an ally we have obligations to (promises were made): https://www.state.gov/u-s-security-cooperation-with-israel/ (we have formal agreements with them - multiple: 1952, 1982, 1991, 1994)

We helped create this nation, it really is a democracy, it really has a rule of law, and they really were surprise attacked and not provoking the situation.

In Ukraine, we and the Ukrainians were antagonists (NATO East expansion, Minsk violations...). Ukraine is like a kid that kicks a bigger boy in the shin and that tells the teacher he didn’t do anything after he gets decked.

Israel on the other hand was actually EASING the restrictions on Gaza as the attacks happened (crossing borders was getting easier). The idea of a two nation solution was viewed more favorable than ever and had quite a bit of support. The Israeli’s hadn’t been targeting Hamas and things were fairly quiet...

Everything we ascribe to Ukraine, but isn’t really entirely accurate or complete, is true with Israel.

We need to help Israel.

Graham is right on this. It irritates me to admit he’s right on anything.
