President Joe Biden’s favorability among Americans sits at a four-year low as the embattled octogenarian seeks a second term in office, Public Religion Research Institute (PRRI) polling found Wednesday.
Only 37 percent of Americans hold a favorable view of Biden, while 60 percent hold an unfavorable view, marking his worse unfavorable rating dating back to 2019. During the 2020 election cycle, the pollster found Biden’s favorability rating slightly fell from 42 percent in October 2019. His highest favorability was 55 percent after he assumed office.

From the Democrat point of view, it would make sense to let Biden sweep the primaries. As Biden has no real opposition, he’ll do that easily. Meanwhile, Biden takes all the criticism and all the hits.
Then at the convention Biden steps aside due to “ill health”, and the party bosses replace him with someone more likely to beat Trump. Newsom? Michelle? Hillary?
Now, here’s a problem with my analysis. I live in a rust belt state. Someone is running TV ads that are praising Biden personally. Not praising all the Democrats, just Biden. Why spend that money if you’re planning to push the old fool aside?
I automatically guess these “low” numbers before I click. Usually I say 41 and am right. This time I said 37. I just laugh at this gaslighting. Next week we will be back to a new “low’ of 41.
