His “plan” after getting McCarthy replaced was to trust the Constitutional process. F anyone who thinks otherwiseThank God there were enough adults in the room to put out the fire. Gaetz was not one of them. Y'all wouldn't be backslapping and high-fiving each other if it had turned out differently. Hindsight is always 20-20.

Absolutely. We all should. Sometimes the making the change that is needed can be a rough process.
But a month from now, no one will remember any jagged edges in the process, but only that the needed change was made.

I, too, feel it was a God thing that Johnson was selected. Time will tell, of course; in this sinful world in which we live, wolves in sheeps’ clothing seem to be the rule, rather than the exception. LORD hear our prayers.

The author is wrong on so many counts, and I trust that he is FOS regarding Gaetz' big picture thinking.
But at the end of the day, even if you choose to accept that Gaetz only had the short term plan of removing McCarthy ... who gives a rat's ass? McCarthy didn't keep his promises and now McCarthy is gone. Gaetz successfully implemented a plan, unlike the RINO do-nothing crowd, and for that We the People are infinitely better off.
High five, Gaetz, instead of peeing in our Wheaties.
