Officials are working to determine how long Robert Card had been deceased
The Maine Army Reservist who slaughtered 18 of his neighbors and wounded 13 others in a mass shooting Wednesday night has been found dead Friday — more than 48 hours after he inflicted carnage in Lewiston and sparked a massive manhunt in the peaceful New England state.
Robert Card II is believed to have died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound, authorities announced at a press conference Friday night.
Officials did not provide many details on the circumstances that led to the discovery of his body in the nearby town of Lisbon, saying an investigation is ongoing.
Police expect to give an update at a 10 a.m. press conference Saturday.
According to some reports, his body was found behind a recycling center, where he had reportedly previously lost his job.

After the media worked so hard to create the idea that all veterans are mental patients they certainly arent going to let this opportunity to “prove it” slip by.
Many who have never served appear presume that any body who is or has ever been a part of the military is going to be preoccupied, if not obsessed with guns and other weaponry as a means to destroy something. They may forget the main purpose of any military is often to defend what you currently have. It’s a foolish assumption, but not surprising, considering that most Americans today have no association with that life as a career choice.

I am glad they found him, though it possibly took 48 hours to find him behind the place that recently fired him? Perhaps he wasn’t dead the whole time...
Maybe they can recycle him into a decent human being.
I guess he took out the trash at the recycling center.
A recycling center is usually a last-resort job for those who can’t hold a job for long

The first time a recycling center served a useful purpose.
He told the VA he had voices in his head. They ignored him.
He had a pair of “high-powered” hearing aids, maybe to hear the voices clearer.
A lot of these mass murder cases wind up this way. In this stance, did his government contract psych handlers ‘speak’ through his earpiece to destroy the ‘evidence’ - himself? Now we will never know the motive, except for those voices he heard in his head.
Was there any manifesto? We have yet to see the one supposedly issued by the tranny that murdered three students and three teachers in that school.

They knew about him and of him just like many of the other mass shooters, hearing aids leaves something to the imagination why influence him on the internet or in person
