Anecdotally, I’ve read a few times over the years that Palestinians (along with Somalis) are regarded as the trailer trash of the Arab World.
Why the Arab World continues to waste time and money on these people is beyond me. I get it that Israel is not a popular subject in the Arab World but after all these decades, they ought to realize that Israel is not going anywhere.
Might I suggest an insurrection against Hamas?

Absolutely correct. Citrus and flowers come to mind. Also, many kinds of vegetables (with the right irrigation infrastructure) could be grown. They’d have a ready market of buyers in Europe and the rest of the Middle East.
They had opportunities - but if you combine a victim mentality along with Hamas lording over them, they blew their chances.
And, for God's sake, stop importing them here!
