In their case, it was German citizens. In our case I suspect that these thugs are immigrants, not Americans. Either way it needs to be stomped on immediately or it will spread.
*nb. The America author tried to disguise it, but I believe that the town in Germany that the book is about was Goettingen, an ancient college town. Lovely place, untouched by the war. I've been there. If you choose to read, buy the original version, not the revised. Alibris has it for much less $$ than Amazon. Newer printings may have been Bowdlerized.
