President Joe Biden “stressed the importance” of supporting Ukraine during a meeting Wednesday with Chilean President Gabriel Boric, who is in Washington to attend a series of economic engagements and to expand Chile’s trade ties to America.
The meeting between Biden and Boric in the White House marked the 200th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries. During remarks to journalists prior to their closed-door meeting, Boric described the objective of his visit of helping “strengthen our relationships” and noted the great benefits Chile has received from a 20-year-old free trade agreement with America.

He MUST protect himself from disclosures about his family’s wheeling and dealings in Ukraine. That has to be the reason for such a high priority for Ukraine.

That’s straight up mafia tactics. “Oh, youse want to expand trade ties with us? That might e possible. I hope you will join me in supporting Ukraine”.
Any deal for Ukraine then must include Biden coming clean about his relationship to Ukraine. He has to prove he holds his country above himself. Which of course he does not.
What galls me is his and Hunter's chicanery in Ukraine was well-known BEFORE his "election" by anyone who paid attention, although the media always worked diligently to cover it up.
Boric is aligned with the communist party in Chile.
They are probably longing for the good old days in Chile, when there wasn’t enough bread to go around and Allende had wrecked the economy.

breitbart.com——A new Gallup poll shows that a plurality of Americans now say the U.S. is giving too much aid to Ukraine, as reported by Breitbart News. It also comes as Ukraine’s counteroffensive against Russia has reached a stalemate, according to a top Ukrainian general.
“There will most likely be no deep and beautiful breakthrough,” Valery Zaluzhny, the commander-in-chief of Ukraine’s armed forces, told the Economist, according to Axios. The two sides have “reached the level of technology that puts us into a stalemate,” he reportedly said.
The stalled counteroffensive is despite the U.S. and Western allies sending billions in military equipment, as well as training Ukrainian forces.......amid a massive fight in Congress over continuing aid to Ukraine.
The U.S. has already committed at least $113 billion in aid to Ukraine since February 2022, when Russia invaded the country. The Biden administration requested an additional $24 billion more through the end of 2023, but House Republicans rejected that proposal.
Now, the Biden administration has asked for $61 billion more, as part of a $105 billion package that would include $14 billion for Israel.
