Some 61 percent of Germans no longer want any migration from Islamic nations, new polling shows..
Nearly two-thirds of all German citizens want the country’s federal government to impose a ban on migration from predominantly Muslim nations, a damning survey has revealed.
Polling conducted by INSA on behalf of the Bild tabloid newspaper showed that 61 percent of respondents now advocate refusing any more migrants from Islamic countries with many explaining they no longer feel safe in their own country and believe an increasing number of new arrivals despise German society.
A majority of voters from every political party except for the German Green Party supported a ban on Muslim immigration.
The survey was conducted amid the ongoing pro-Palestine demonstrations witnessed in several German cities following the Hamas terror attack in Israel on Oct. 7 and the retaliatory measures carried out in Gaza by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).

A total of 60 percent of respondents admitted the ongoing protests, attended by large numbers of foreign nationals sympathetic to the Hamas cause, concern them, while 77 percent of Germans believe that a growing contingent of the country’s migrant population resents German society and Western values.
In a damning indictment of the federal government’s longstanding liberal migration policy adopted by both the current coalition government and the previous administration led by Angela Merkel’s Christian Democratic Union (CDU), a total of 72 percent of respondents said they no longer agreed with the former chancellor’s remarks from 2015 when she told the nation, “We can do it!” in relation to taking in an unprecedented number of refugees.
Hermann Binkert, INSA’s founder and managing director, told Bild: “The clear stance documents the Germans’ farewell to Angela Merkel’s migration policy.
“Citizens expect a noticeable turnaround. These numbers should shake up politicians,” he added.
The INSA survey is consistent with similar polling recently conducted on the issue of immigration across Germany, with a shift in attitude also evidenced by the surge in popularity of the anti-mass migration Alternative for Germany (AfD) party, which is currently polling in second place nationally.
A state-run ARD-DeutschlandTrend poll from earlier this month showed that 64 percent of Germans wanted the country to take in fewer immigrants, with the same number believing that Germany faces more disadvantages than advantages when it comes to immigration.
They finally figured this out?

Too late now - the Republic is lost - in too many places.
Some lessons are learned too late to do any good. Let’s hope that the open-door policy of the Europeans is not one of those. I fear that it is, though.

You can go back to 2013, and there were three German groups...the pro-asylum of any group (in 50-to-60 percent range), the anti-asylum of any group (probably near 10-percent), then the group asking a lot of questions and wanting to know who is in charge (near one-third of the public).
The present problem...even if they were to go radical and present an exit plan...there’s probably 2-million-plus jobs that would be vacant. Economy would be in collapse for a decade.

Ah, no. Back in the 1990s, a few years after German re-unification, Germany placed restrictions on Turkish immigration.
The Simon Wiesenthal Center announced that Germany was returning to it's Nazi past. (Yes, I remember hearing the news report on KABC-AM in my car radio.)
Whereupon Germany, eager to prove to world Jewish opinion that they were no longer Nazis, quickly lifted its restrictions on Turkish immigration.
Of course, now that you have millions of Muslims in Europe threatening Jews, it's become more acceptable to crack down on Muslims.

It would take a minimum 18 years to solve the problem, by having children again.
I have my doubts they will be clever enough or stalwart enough to solve this.

Certain pressure groups are well-connected, and can cause severe trouble.
But you know: since blackmailing a people with her past worked so well in (West) Germany from the 1960s on, the Powers that Be did the same to certain other countries (herm herm, slavery, herm, segregation...).
Sorry, but I smell a rat, er, I see a pattern here...
I am afraid this could get very ugly, all over the First World.
Still, I might get into trouble for pointing this out, but I see America, as well as Canada, in deep peril due to massive migration, which has been encouraged and abetted by their respective power-elites (1965 Immigration Act, Amnesty of 1986, Immigration Act of 1990 etc. etc.). Don’t forget the refugee policies of the UN from 1951 on (non-refoulement rule).
Not just us in Europe.
We all, North Americans and Europeans, are in this utter fustercluck (pardon my French) of a dung-show together.
And it was concocted by our power-elites, who either hate us or are too dumb to realize the consequences of their deleterious policies. Pure and simple.
My impression of the Germans is that they are idiots.
Five Nordic Countries Now Cooperating to Deport Illegals

Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Norway, and Iceland have all agreed to cooperate in deporting illegal immigrants by pooling together their deportees on shared flights back to their homelands in cooperation with the European Union border agency Frontex.
Europeans seem to be waking up to that reality. For years they have been more than generous to the migrants flooding their borders and upending their societies.
The hope has been that by providing them with government benefits, housing, and a welcoming environment they would adapt to their new societies and become civilized.
A pipe dream.
The fundamental problem Europe faces when dealing with the influx of immigrants, who have no interest in integrating into European societies, the immigrants simply want to take over as they bleed them dry through welfare payments.
That gives hope for the future.
The US still doesnt “get it.”

Back when Angela Merkel was in charge, Germany went all-in on open borders, importing a million to a million and a half “refugees” from the third world. At the time, many Germans either felt or feigned a welcoming attitude toward the influx, but as time moved on Germans discovered that those crusty old racistsexisthomophobiccolonialistDEIhatingconservatives actually were 100% right. It was a very very bad idea. And Germans are sick of it.

I’ll make a statement which will be derided, at least as entirely impossible.
The only policy which makes sense is to go into some of these worst actor Muslim countries, enforce their acceptance of non Muslim immigration, and a policy of conversion from Islam.
Of course we have societies that can’t back Israel for more than 25 days without saying it’s “taking too long”. So we lack the will to actually do what’s good for the world and our own people.
As a secondary approach, anyone advocating mass migration of these fanatics should be kept out of public life.
But instead we have drooling idiots who destroyed their own Western societies for decades.
Hmmmm...maybe some, especially in the media and the politicians, e.g the vaunted Power Elite.
Everyone I know personally had been sceptical from the get-go, although hardly one was as radical as I am (, who would have advocated no migration from anywhere and automatization instead, as the Japanese, “what is left of Germany is ours, remains ours”).
