A senior aide to a Los Angeles councilman has resigned after being slammed for making Holocaust jokes about Amy Schumer.
Josh Androsky, a top adviser to Councilman Hugo Soto-Martinez, made the vile comments on X during an exchange with the political podcast TrueAnon, the LA Times reported.
The posts included puns about concentration camps and disparaging comments about the comedian’s weight.
“Amy Schumer is particularly sensitive to Jewish deaths due to her experience in the Holocaust. The Nazis named a concentration camp after her. It was called Da Cow,” TrueAnon reportedly posted, apparently referring to Dachau, where tens of thousands of people died. Androsky, a former comedian who is Jewish, replied by stating that “it’s (Expletive) up that you would say this about her when you know it was actually Cowschwitz,” an apparent reference to Auschwitz, where more than 1.1 million people are believed to have perished.

1) Schumer’s father was born to a Jewish family from Ukraine. She is a second cousin of U.S. Senator and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer.
2) Schumer: I said “You take on the intelligence community, they have six ways from Sunday at getting back at you.” And I, too, have ways of my own if you diss a relative.
The aide will be right back at work elsewhere in the machine, just somewhere out of sight for a while.
Amy Schumer is reprehensible as a comedian actor and person.
He would’ve been fine if he’d left off the weight jokes about Amy Schumer. She’s a “Darling of the Left”.

Schumer is faIr game for jokes about her weight. Should have left the concentration camp and Holocaust references out.
I tried to watch one of her movies once - it had received good reviews. But who can look at that face for ninety minutes?! Not me!
It is astounding to me that people somehow lose control of their emergency brakes when they’re about to post a vile comment that they know is gonna catch a bunch of flak.
Remember when comedians were funny?
