I think he really bought into the progessive Democrat agenda as the price he had to pay to play. He believes in it now, hook, line, and sinker to the detriment and decline of the USA (which is why he must not be reelected). I don't think he is controlled by others, managed yes, but he is a willing participant. But Israel is different, this is not he progressive plan.
