I never said Israel was to blame for civilian deaths.
I said that they ARE occurring, it is a consequence of war, and the use of the term “massacre” is an emotive term used to attack the victors.
In the best of wars, it is the consequence. In this case, it’s much worse. It didn’t have to be quite so bad, but Hamas was actively preventing civilians from leaving.

I understood your point you made no attempt to add a little nuance so you could expect some blow back. Evil people will exploit attempts at restraint and compassion during a war. This is why the bastards house troops in hospitals and transport fighters in ambulances. No civilian casualties is just an impossibility and making it a first priority usually ends up causing more.
