“Nope. If the GOP continues to press abortion as a national issue, they will get wiped out.”
Correct. Some people value life, born or unborn, less than others. That’s a fact that won’t change.

“I would suggest that porn, cable TV, the entertainment industry, the ACLU, various lawyer guilds, etc.... intentionally eroded the Christian fabric of our country and left us with the God-less, hedonistic, virtue-less, materialistic culture that is now voting for all of these policies.”
You may be right. But, that wheel only turns one way.
Morality politics is proving to be a loser.

That suggests that a significant portion of Trump voters, also voted for abortion rights. I think Republican support for pro-life isn't what people think it is, especially with all the welfare babies we're on the hook for.

I’m sure that if the Israelis were telling the Canaanites to stop putting their babies in the arms of Molech, it would have been unpopular too.
That’s why God didn’t tell them to do that.

That suggests that a significant portion of Trump voters, also voted for abortion rights.According to
this exit poll that figure was about 19%. Republicans as a whole voted 18% for abortion. “Conservatives” came in at 13%.

I don’t actually have a child in this situation, but was just offering it for consideration. I think a scared, pregnant, teen might wait longer than 6 weeks to confirm that she was pregnant and, by then, it’s too late. It seems to be a rock/hardplace for such a decision by an immature person.

>>The GOP should drop the abortion stance or get used to losing.
FR members like to lose though - then they complain about stolen elections 24x7 while they bash any republican that does not agree with 100% of whatever they happen to believe at the current moment.

>>Yea, but President Trump will counterattack, and not just sit there like the Gop does.
Right after he cures himself of his bad case of DeSantis Derangement Syndrome and finishes prepping for his Meghan Markle debate.

Why would a child not tell their parents they were raped?
Let me break it down for you....
Even if:
A really bad but rare thing happened
And then another really bad but rare thing happened on top of the previous thing
And then another really bad but rare thing happened on top of the other 2 things.
And someone ended up in a really bad situation....
It’s still not right to kill a baby to attempt to solve the problem.

This is the humane thing to do, not have a late term murder, where a baby WHO IS CAPABLE OF FEELING PAIN, is butchered.

Agreed. The baby raped nobody. Never said a cross word to anyone. Never disobeyed, stole, etc.
It’s not politics, religion, or morality. It’s just plain killing.

Many people do not see the fetus as a baby. That’s the problem. They don’t think the unborn baby is really a baby. That’s why they are ok with abortion.

Yea, but President Trump will counterattack, and not just sit there like the Gop does.
Trump has come out against abortion bans after six weeks of pregnancy and has also said he would not sign a 15 week abortion ban into law. He knows abortion is not a winning issue for the Republicans right now.

Agreed. Though I think there’s a bit of “plausible deniability” or rationalizing going on with a good many of them.
