It's kinda sad because it appears that her and her hubby were financially comfortable and didn't need the money. But they were exhibitionists. Some people are, I suppose. They're also parents. Maybe they thought they could keep this detail of their sex lives away from their kids. Do it a few times and quit before the kids got too old.
