I understand exactly what he means and I’m glad he’s saying it. Many may not want to hear that statement by another republican, but we may as well face the conditions as they now exist.

But using defeatist thinking, America should have surrendered to Japan after Pearl Harbor, England should have surrendered to Hitler, and Israel will cease to exist because the Muslims demand it.
That said, the very reason the country needs Trump is because the Democrats won't let him win.
The Democrats have no right to make such a determination and it is up to the rest of us to make sure that they don't succeed.
No wonder Rand Paul got his a$$ kicked by his neighbor, he makes some very stupid statements to the public.
There are a lot of middle of the road folks out there who simply will not vote for Trump, and unfortunately their votes are needed for a republican to win. Simple as that.

Very few are going to vote for the existing clowns that are in

Anyone else that runs will get hammered by RAT ballot fraud but will make the fraud easier for RATs because they will get far fewer votes than Trump.
Only 6.8 million watched the last debate. There is no excitement for the GOPe clowns.
