Former President Trump suggested in a new interview that the war between Israel and Hamas will just have to “play out” despite concerns about rising civilian casualties.
“So you have a war that’s going on, and you’re probably going to have to let this play out. You’re probably going to have to let it play out because a lot of people are dying,” Trump told Univision in an interview that aired Thursday night.
“It should have never started. There was no way it would have started again,” Trump added. “Iran didn’t have the money because Iran is leading this. And only fools would say that’s not true. They’re leading this. They’re very tricky, very smart, very cunning. They’re leading it, and it’s got to end.”

DeSantis was flying people out at the start, and has been sending weapons to Israel from Florida ever since. There should be no mistaking whose side you’re on, and DeSantis is making it clear.
Well, just had what might be a good idea. For any and all captured Hamas terrorists. Sentence them to life without parole......underground. Save just one part of the vast underground city Hamas has created as their prison. How can anyone call it cruel and unusual when they built it to live in themselves. No cable TV, no wifi, just bologna sandwiches. No need for too many guards since the only way out is one tunnel. Once a month have an inspection to see if they are tunneling with their fingernails (they will only have plastic forks and spoons).
The statement from Trump is as strong as it needs to be. Interpret it as: Give Israel free reign to fight terrorists.

He used the government’s money, since it is under his jurisdiction as governor. Are you suggesting Trump should have used his own money for worthy causes while he was president?
And it wouldn’t have cost Trump a dime to voice his support for Israel, instead of his “let’s wait and see what happens next” cop out. My guess is doesn’t want to offend the liberals he’s been working to attract to his campaign.
As far as Trump's statement, I was referring to: "Sometimes you have to let things play out" which is a far cry from let's wait and see what happens next...which, btw, is not a quote in the article.

Yes, that's correct. DeSantis has actually sent help in multiple forms. As well as gave his unequivocal vocal support. I for one, recognize the distinction, and appreciate it. Thanks.

Nothing wrong with the statement, letting it play out is what Israel wants. Were I a speechwriter I'd have made the edit below. There's no equivalence, but he's careless with his words at times. Better to judge by actions.
There is no hatred like the Palestinian hatred of Israel and Jewish people. And probably the other way around also; I don’t know.
