I had it 3 times. It’s the sniffles and you can’t taste food. Big nothing burger. I still worked out and ran 3 miles aday while I had Covid-19.

RE: and why should you take those statements with a grain of salt?

I am not taking those statements with a grain of salt. I said I was actually looking for a map in the article

RE: It is my third time, her second.

Are both of you vaccinated and boosted?

Nope. Natural immunity from getting COVID is broader and lasts longer than immunity from the vaccine.

Natural immunity lasted over a year and a half for me between infections and each time I have gotten it the symptoms have been milder than the last time. Meanwhile, everyone that I know who got the vaccine and didn't die from it (I know two who did) got infected within 6 months of the second shot and had worse symptoms than I did.

That’s exactly my point. The “it’s only sniffles” idiots seem to think that everybody is affected by COVID the same The medical ignorance of these types of people is astounding and the celebration of their ignorance.is laughable.

I had cancer once but an operation removed the growth, so I guess according to your “logic” I am entitled to tell everyone that cancer is no big deal either.

Is anyone actually falling for this crap this time around?

I’m sure they’ll eventually dream up some new threat we all need to fear and give our money and surrender our rights for, but this is surely worn off by now?

I’ve said from the beginning that the elderly and the immunocompromised should wear masks and stay home if possible. During CoVID they used disinformation to coerce everyone into wearing masks, staying home, and then getting an experimental vaccine because we needed to “save the elderly and the sick!” It was ass backwards from a logical response, and they did it deliberately.

I refuse to go back to those days, especially since we now know the truth. The elderly and sick will continue to be more significantly impacted by CoVID and other viruses, but the rest of us should continue to live our regular lives, because it’s really just a cold for 99% of the population.

Stupid analogy. Cancer isn’t a highly transmissible virus.

It’s not a stupid analogy, you just fail to understand it.

Let me explain it for you.

People who had mild COVID cannot and should not make blankets statements like “it’s just the sniffles”. That is a careless generalization as bad as COVID is going to kill us. COVID affects different people in different way (just like cancer). I like many others got through cancer with no problems but I do not diminish its seriousness for SOME people. COVID is serious for SOME people, u fortunately it can be a crapshoot if that person is you or not. I personally know two people who died from COVID (1st wave) who were relatively young with no obvious comorbitities. One of them was a 40 year old guy who was my son’s friend’s dad.
