It’s not a two party system like the US. Not too much talk of voter fraud in the years I’ve been here. Close votes get recount but that’s about it and Conservatives win those recounts at times. Seldom are elections litigated. Things might be changing though who knows.

Not too much talk of voter fraud in the years I’ve been here.

A lot more paper, far fewer computers. Also, some residual "good government" types dominate outside of the big cities, even among the soft left. (I don't know about those NDP types)

Current projections have the remaining seats so divided that the worst the Conservatives would do is a very strong minority, which means not only being close to a majority, but being able to pass anything with merely the abstention of a significant part of one of the other parties. The Conservatives have been pretty steady for the past three weeks, with the Liberals dropping. To the extent that the Liberals loose ground to the BQ, the situation becomes that more hopeless for Trudeau.
