Well, for openers there is the autopsy.

My recollection is there were two autopsies. The first one by the county coroner says the officer didn't kill him. The one from the guy hired by the family says he did.

I believe the first one is correct, and the second one delivered the result the family paid for.

Then there is the video.

Yes. Absolutely proves that Chauvin didn't kill him.

The bromide that Floyd, who was no saint, OD’d, is speculation, pushed by people who prefer a specific narrative.

The dosage in Floyd's blood is lethal. It's not speculation, that amount of Fentanyl will kill anyone.

You can hate riots, cherish the rule of law, and find Chauvin guilty and Floyd a loser.

You can't find Chauvin guilty unless you just don't care about truth.

Exactly, I use to wrestle in High School and all the time opponents would have their knee on the back of my neck and I never had a problem breathing.

I dare anyone to try it for themselves, tell me if you can’t breathe. It’s ridiculous. They are trying to equate a knee on the FRONT of your neck to the back of the neck which is ridiculous.

I said at the time that the Defense should have absolutely staged an experiment in the court room where a man kneels on someone's neck for the period of time in question just to demonstrate and prove that it won't kill anybody.

The lawyer might have wanted to do that, but the Judge wouldn't allow it.

I recall reading a few weeks ago that George Floyd died of a drug overdose?

Granted, Chauvin over-reacted, but he did not kill Floyd.

IMO-—IF GEORGE was left alone in the middle o the street-—he still would have died from the fentanyl he jammed down his throat so he wound’t get caught in possession.

I’m probably in the minority in believing that the cops mis-handled the situation. That doesn’t mean I believe they murdered him, and regardless, the murder and mayhem from BLM and others, in the aftermath, were outrageous and not justified in any way, by the incident. But the initial arresting officer was too confrontational, right off the bat and the situation escalated as a result, IMO.

Once others arrived and Floyd had been subdued, the continued pressure on his neck was no longer necessary, but continued. I understand that that technique is or was taught by a number of police departments, but at some point, once the guy is cuffed, common sense tells you it’s no longer necessary.

No, Opus was a cartoon character. Nikki Sixx ingested fatal levels of drugs, too. As did scores of other living rock stars. We will never know if Floyd would be Nikki Sixx or Sid Vicious because of Chauvin’s incompetence.

#MeToo gave rise to the idea of guilty without evidence. The autopsy didn’t conclude that Floyd OD’d. Yet scores of alleged conservatives have transitioned to #MeToo and claim OD.

I get it, that people are championing Chauvin and condemning Floyd because that’s what their tribe tells them to think.

False comparisons.

And false autopsy conclusion, for that matter; that should have been obvious.

Opus?

Can we just accept that everyone running for office will say things that you don’t agree with?
