So how do those three translations compare to what is really said in Arabic?
Darned if I know, I don't read Arabic.
I have a translation from the 1870s, and they seem close to it.
I figure with 3 Imams' translations this is probably about as close as one can get.
Of course this is the reason many of the founding fathers of the USA learned Greek to be able to read the classics in the language they were written in.
Seldom will any translation be able to exactly convey what the original author meant.
Does not matter, they are only suras - the explanations are in the Hadiths and Sunnahs contained in the other 4 books: Talibari, Muslim, Isaq and Bukhari; Hadiths are Muhammad’s words to his followers, the Sunnahs are the history of Muhammad and his motto (sic) was “Kill, kill, kill”
Do these stupid people not understand they (personally) are expected to wage jihad, killing as many of the hated others as possible, going to a glorious martyrdom to Paradise, where before entering you will have to wait in line as Paradise (according to Muhammad) only holds 72,000. If you do not follow this path, then others are obligated to kill you.
