Why just our treasure? Why not our blood?

That could be next. No skin off the noses of the crooks running DC.

I believe it is referred to as “Mutual assured destruction (MAD) which is a doctrine of military strategy and national security policy which posits that a full-scale use of nuclear weapons by an attacker on a nuclear-armed defender with second-strike capabilities would cause the complete annihilation of both the attacker and the defender.” I don’t think either America or Russia is willing to go that far. I hope not.

Godless?

When I explain our need to move out from Earth, some people state that God will call us home before the Sun expands. I reply with - I do not know when he will call us home. Could be soon, or maybe later. God gave us curiosity and the ability to improve our lives, help others, etc.

What if God expects us to go forth, use our Solar System? I cannot say absolutely God wants us to do that, but I cannot say he absolutely does not want us to to that. God gave us the ability to use science, real science, to explore and create such things as penicillin. Why not keep exploring and creating until he calls us home.

And while hurricane ravaged Florida is still a mess a year after Ian... send a hundred million dollars to Ukraine and the hell with Americans...
Screw anyone that feels this is the right thing to do

A former Putin advisor has broken down US weapons aid to Ukraine. First as what’s been appropriated, $48 billion, IIRC, what’s been “committed” by Biden, $44 Billion, IIRC, and then the number that really stood out to me, weapons actually received in Ukraine, $22 billion. This last is a kind of weird number, as I believe it actually comports with the cost of replacing the weapons sent, and the replacements are almost always the latest and greatest version(s) that are similar (in defense terms often referred to as a recent “block” of one or more types.)

So, a std. 155mm shell doesn’t get replaced by an Excalibur round in this exercise, but, an older Excalibur shell might. I think.

In any event, the slow-walking of the weapons would seem to mean a lot are still “in the pipeline”. $100 million is almost insignificant.

The ex-Pooty guy was on YouTube - If I get a chance I’ll try to find the vid again. Dude made one other interesting point: That agreements with Putin are not worth the paper they are written on. Many examples.

BTW, IMO if Pooty “wins” in Ukraine, in the long run fighting Russia ourselves will be the “good scenario”...

Utterly sickening, made even more so by the certainty that a good amount of this money has been filched by corrupt scumbag bureaucrats and parasites of all stripes in both Youcrayne and the US.

Ukraine will spiral into WWIII if we don't stop Russia here: Zelensky

This morning, over the pot of coffee, I have read that 1) WWIII will break out if we don't send more money to Z, 2) the world will boil away if we don't send more money to the climate change hucksters, and more. "Send more money" seems the common theme.

As you point out with regularity, that "more money" isn't actually rescuing homeless vets on our streets, because they have been deemed expendable by the Lefties....

....who want the next crop to enlist in the transsexual-infested military.

Utterly sickening, billions for a war we could care less about,
when our needy vets w/ families are homeless and jobless.

Even more disgusting: US tax dollars to this snakepit are laundered in offshore
banks by corrupt Ukraine scumbags and sleazy US elected and appointed parasites of all stripes.

"Send more money" seems the common theme.

It is the common theme in all "crisis" scams. Let's face it, we constantly hear that the public school system could be "fixed" if only we threw more money at it. Same with the Climate Change scam, same with Youcrayne. On and on it goes.

But what these things are really about is keeping the "Parasite Class" rolling in the dough.

Those filthbags take our money, pass it around to other parasitic scumbags, produce nothing but bullshit and waste and then punish us for the "privilege" of glomming our cash by manufacturing crises and then concocting rules and laws that hamstring our ability to live free and without onerous, government interference in our lives.

As always, "follow the money."

Liz - that’s one perfect graphic... Two point 5 million per vet might, just might help...
