A Hollywood agency has reportedly dropped actress Susan Sarandon in the wake of a comment she made at a pro-Palestinian rally.
Sarandon, who had been represented by the agency UTA since 2014, stated at the rally in New York City that Jewish people who are afraid in the wake of Hamas's attack on Israel are "getting a taste of what it feels like to be a Muslim" in the United States. As of Tuesday, she is no longer being represented by UTA, a spokesperson for the agency said.
The Oscar-winning actress's comment had greatly affected several staffers at UTA, according to the report.

Sarandon's comments also kicked up a storm on social media, with Asra Nomani, a Muslim author, rebuking what Sarandon had said, noting that her Muslim parents both lived very free lives in the U.S. She added that she was able to start her own business in 1981, which would have been denied to Muslim women "in so many Muslim countries."
"This is a 'taste' of life for a Muslim family in America," Nomani wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter. "Please don't minimize the experience of Jewish Americans by sanitizing the hell that it is for Muslims living in Muslim countries and vilifying America for the life — and freedoms — she offers Muslims like my family."
Sarandon won her Oscar for best actress in 1995's Dead Man Walking and has been nominated for the category in several other films, including 1981's Atlantic City, 1991's Thelma and Louise, 1992's Lorenzo's Oil, and 1994's The Client. Most recently, she played the villain in 2023's Blue Beetle, which flopped at the box office with a total of $129,288,072.
Yep....she’s always trying real hard to remain significant ‘somewhere’. ...for “some” cause that will give her press.
I wonder if that Hollywood agency is owned and run by Jewish people?
Sarandon should be dropped, all right-—head first, from a tall building. If she landed on her head, there would be no damage!

Oh right, I forgot about Pretty Baby.
The only thing she was any good for in that movie was RIDING ROCKY.
But she does it out of a novel orifice. Is she queefing? Or just brain-farting?
Roseanne made a tweet that was mis-interpreted as racist, and she’s branded for life, because she supports Trump and supports Israel. I don’t think she’s recanted either, and certainly hasn’t turned on Trump. Sarandon will be back when the heat’s off, or when she does a fake “apology” or agrees to “anger therapy,” whichever comes first.
I wouldn’t touch her with a ten foot poll. I canceled her years ago.
I prefer to think of her in Thelma & Louise at the end of the movie.
yap open and sh## comes forth, an empty dress with an even more spacious empty head
Her career is OVER.
I prefer to not think of her at all.
She was standing next to Violet. I think that was part.
