Yawn, yet another “study” showing that the “smart” people swallow the party line.

Ho hum. A month or so ago, Alex Berenson had some data showing that compliance with covid-19 vax mandates/pressures was higher than average among the *moderately intelligent* but actually quite low among those of the *highest intelligence*. “Smart” people get ahead by following orders, being good little boys and girls and not questioning the system, but the smartest people are able to see through the b-lls—t.

In any study, one must consider alternative explanations. In this one they conclude that being uneducated or not very bright (which are 2 different things) means you were susceptible to disinformation so you voted for Brexit. A much better alternative interpretation is that those without much education or ability to make bundles of money as a lawyer or doctor or grifting politician, are quite reasonably more threatened by letting in millions of immigrants who are also not very bright and not very educated but who are willing to work for less, and siphon off the same public benefits as not so bright UK citizens. The “uneducated” thus have made a sensible decision to vote in their own interests, because they don’t have the money or need for 2 nannies and 2 gardeners working for low wages, and they may need the public assistance that the elites dole out by the billion to anyone who crosses into the UK, reducing the amount available for them. So the ones with “low cognitive ability” are making a logical and rational choice, while the highly education authors of the article waste their time spewing nonsense in order to gaslight people to make worse decisions and punish themselves so the elite can have better maid service.
