CEO of pro-DeSantis super PAC Never Back Down resigns — days after near brawl between allies of Florida governor

Chris Jankowski stepped down Wednesday, just days after a brawl nearly broke out at one of the super PAC’s group strategy meetings as the Sunshine State governor has sunk in GOP primary polls.

Never Back Down board member and DeSantis confidante Scott Wagner reportedly had to be physically restrained from going after one of the group’s political consultants, Jeff Roe, the founder of Axiom Strategies.

The Florida governor and his wife, Casey DeSantis, have grown increasingly frustrated with Never Back Down’s leadership, according to the outlet.

The super PAC is no longer running ads in Iowa amid concerns that voters too easily connect Never Back Down to DeSantis and their spots are actually hurting the governor, the report notes.

So desantis and his wife are upset the ads in Iowa aren't working...

Considering the neverbackdown super pac has been (illegally) colluding with the desantis campaign and basically hosting events and driving him around Iowa and being the face of his campaign, it makes it difficult for desantis to say anything.

Especially since jeff roe, of axiom strategies, has been paid the bulk of the money to run their media advertising .

It boggles the mind that the DeSantis people think they have a shot at the presidency after stabbing 75,000,000 Trump supporters in the back, which is essentially what they did.

But even with how bad desantis and his campaign has been, there are still nevertrumper desantis supporters who don’t hesitate to attack Trump with lies and mis-representations....

And still say desanctimoinius is the conservative candidate that has to remain in the race, when Trump is removed from the ballot by the rnc or otherwise.

But don’t say a word to defend or rebut how desantis continues to lie about things, is corrupt, not above bribing people for his support, or had been (until he started flailing so much) the swamp GOPe rino uniparty candidate.

desantis let it slip in one of his interviews...

he expects the party (the rnc) to take the nomination away from Trump, or keep him off the ballot.

Then the nominee position would be chosen by the rnc and likely be the 2nd place person.

You have to wonder what the backroom deals are that have been done to set this up, if desantis is already talking about it.

If the RNC screws Trump, it’s the end of the RNC and any chance of a national republican win in the future. A new party will form and the GOP will go the way of the Whigs.

Yup, it’ll be the end of the GOP nationally. If this doofus DeSantis thinks Trump voters will support him if the RNC denies the former president the nomination then he’s much dumber than I already thought he was! He’s proving to be nothing more than a GOPe stooge!

I kind of figured they were all planning of President Trump being removed from the race. With the exception of Vivek. I have decided in my mind, with no evidence whatsoever, that he’s somehow working on Team Trump. lol time will tell.

Why don’t they sell the video of the brawl? Paywall and viral view tsunami will finance the sinking campaign.

Can he get a quick book out before the name DeSantis goes into “Where Are They Now?” segments at the end of news shows?

In this internet age a non-print book should come out fast.

Editor: You got any dirt, pal?
Ex Aide: You betcha.

Plan B is the tabloids including the Closer type magazines.

I don’t know the RNC rules. But it would seem to me that if the RNC somehow removed Trump from consideration, Trump’s delegates would become free agents. It’s the delegates who decide (by vote) who the nominee is. Right?

I can’t image those Trump delegates would default to DeSantis. Instead, I’d think they’d vote for some MAGA outsider.

Frank, that's a brilliant fund raising idea.  I, for one, would gladly pay 25¢ to see that historic event.

But think how dejected DeSantis must be these days.  I imagine him sulking in his chair as in the famous Paul Delaroche portrait, Napoleon abdicating at Fontainebleau (large pic).

Sadly the name “DeSantis” has become a synonym for disloyalty, like Quisling is for traitor.

Possibly one of the most stunningly stupid moves in politics, IMHO.

“Chris Jankowski”

So this Polish dude being his biggest back and a Ukrainian (former) babe being his spokesman (Christina Pushaw), and we’re supposed to believe that he’s MAGA. Really?

The name “never back down” meant they were doomed.

The “forever stamp” probably means the same.
