That video was heavily clipped and edited as to favor the attacker.
It’s been verified that both the cop and his attacker were on the ground fighting for the gun. Yet we don’t see that part.
The cop was able to get off the ground first. Thankfully he was smart enough not to wait till the attacker got up and resumed the fight.
In simple terms, don’t believe that video.
I give CHP my trust. Have watched these officers in action since the 1960’s and they are truly awesome.
