It matters not if he did or did not review the documents, as long as the documents were correct in their analysis, which they must’ve been, since a loan resulted from the bank with its own analysis. Lending institutions don’t just accept people’s word for their property values.

It’s a presumption, of course. But, he’s not an accountant.

Do you remember when, early in his Presidency, he printed out his tax returns? It was a pile of paper at least 4 feet high. Maybe more than one pile. He did that to make a point in his push for a simplified deduction scheme, which he did get through Congress.

He didn’t know the details in many of those forms. It isn’t possible.

Were the loans repaid? How were the ‘People of the State of New York’ damaged in any way? Yes, I realize that these questions are entirely irrelevant. Wasn’t that real estate expert Judge Arthur Engoron who said that location has nothing to do with a property’s value?

The judge, having already found Trump and family guilty of fraud will, no doubt require Trump to divest himself of all property. The best Trump can hope for is a sane court in NY to appeal to.

No one accepts the premise that a crime was committed.
This kangaroo court nonsense will not stand.

Does anyone think Trump didn’t direct his people to inflate his net worth?

The Demoncrats are bound and determined to keep Trump out of the White House, even using endless charges to keep him from campaigning. I worry if all these effort fail they will turn to assassination.

This means that plans, proposals, scopes of work, contracts, etc. are being discussed in good faith but that signatory authority belongs to Donald Trump, and it is not binding until he approves.

It’s not a pledge or promise that DJT is going to review every aspect of a deal to be sure the other party is completely happy and satisfied. It means HE gets to make sure HIS interests are protected.

Anyone rich and famous or who has others representing them in contracts is going to include such language so they don’t get sued for breach of contract for things they never agreed to.

The only thing worse than the moonbattery and mass hysteria of the left is their criminal abuse of the legal system.

I predict that they will live to regret this.

"Jeffrey McConney, the Trump Organization's former corporate controller, testified on Tuesday that it was his understanding that Trump reviewed financial statements before they were finalized, contradicting previous testimony."

Hearsay is a smoking gun? Maybe in moRonlim dreams where they dream of eating meatballs and wake up to find that they've pooped themselves, without the poop.

Just a head fake to get a headline. If it was true and important they would have announced it Sunday night.
Garbage.

The prosecution is relying upon, in aprt, the executed affirmation clauses of the documents.

lol

“had little involvement in preparing”

Exactly, being in the chain of command to REVIEW documents is not that same as being involved in PREPARING them.

Do these people have reading comprehension problems?

A review could just be to see his bottom line. It doesn’t mean that he goes through with a fine toothcomb and edits all the content. Most likely, he wouldn’t consider himself qualified to do so.
