I heard that term but I have not heard it in recent years. Perhaps that term had fallen into disuse.

Well here we see Kathy H. Is so focused on nonsense. There is such a fear of the left in this country. There is such a fear of offending the so-called transgender peoples , because a tiny number of women are biological females but identify as male.

So we are compelled to twist the language into pretzels and use terminology that does not suggest that females are the ones who menstruate.

I’ve heard similar terminology used, such as in referring to pregnancy ,some liberals talk about “people who are pregnant” rather than “pregnant women”. These people are so afraid of offending a tiny tiny number of people who are pushing some liberal cause. It’s amazing how our culture has shifted this way.
