You and reasonisfaith are actually both correct. This is not a race problem. It is most definitely a culture problem. And the root cause is the Democrat Party.
Before LBJ, blacks had stable family units. From LBJ onward, that changed. Way too many blacks went from productive citizens to wards of the state.
Trump had a plan to change things by bringing industry back to America. That would have meant good jobs in the cities, not handouts. But the Democrats and the GOPe didn’t want that.
So here we are.

My focus is on the likely product of narrative, and on the likely intention driving a given narrative.
And, if you think Trump’s plan isn’t successful to date, then you haven’t seen what’s going on.
