The skyrocketing costs could impact the 2024 election, as the soaring inflation under President Joe Biden reflects poorly on his economic plan of so-called “Bidenomics.”

Ate there last week in Texas. Same thing is $20.
When I worked at McDonald’s (1971-1973), $18 would buy 20 Big Macs, 20 small fries, and 20 small Cokes. There was no such thing as a combo meal; people ordered items individually.

I remember when I could get a Big Mac Value Meal and get 120$ back.
Of course, I needed a gun.
Last Wednesday, I got 2 Big Macs, 1 Dbl Cheeseburger Quarter Pounder, 2 Large Fries. $30.08

That sounds like one of my sons orders from when they were teenagers, none of the three of them is over weight now as adults.
Add in the increase in supply costs due to rampant inflation and the prices rise quite a bit.
^^This^^
Good luck!
“gouging” — that’s the excuse of FJB and other dems.
Do you suppose that the labor and materials costs that companies pay have gone up? Or do you believe that the Board of Directors secretly got together with all the other Boards in their industry and colluded to double prices overnight?
What do you think happens when the government gooses the money supply $5 trillion and there is ZERO productive output and ZERO gain in productivity?
I remember years ago when I could buy a Costco cooked chicken for $4.99! Oh... it's still $4.99. Anyway, we don't go to fast food outlets. Get a Costco chicken, along with buying soft rolls or bread, some lettuce, and make yourself a nice sandwich - for several days.
You can eat cheaper at Texas Roadhouse....Sirloin Steak with two sides...$10.
You’re paying for $15. hourly students wages....not the meal.
I’m still waiting for my loan to be approved.
For that money, I can put a couple of prime steaks on the barbecue.
And with more people working from home, that’s what will happen.
When McDonalds (and other fast food joints) were forced to raise their hourly wages, you didn't think that the owners/franchisees were going to just absorb the increased labor cost, do you?
Not that I have a problem with workers getting more wages but if I am going to spend that much, I'm going to go to a sit-down restaurant where I get better quality food and service.
Pink slime is expensive these days.
Someone thinks he’s worse than Carter? Big words, but it looks like Biden took over some time ago from Carter as “worst president ever” and it will take some a LOT to recapture that title from Biden. I don’t expect to see it happen, even in what is left of my lifetime. If someone ever recaptured that title, he/she would have to be a total communist dictator
Wow. Glad I live in Georgia, even though it’s essentially a blue state now the fast food prices for a lunch is about 10 dollars if you large size it.
I don’t eat fast food as much as most people i associate with. I have a hard time spending money on food that doesn’t taste as good as home cooking.
No idea where these ridiculous prices are coming from. I’m in So Cal, so hardly an affordable area of the country. Looking at the McDonalds phone app right now. $6 for a Big Mac with med. fries and med. drink at the McDonalds 2 miles down the street.
