Bennet: It’s Not Biden’s Fault a Billion Dollar Enterprise Smuggles People to the Border
Breitbart ^ | 11/30/2023 | Pam Key

Posted on 11/30/2023 11:32:17 AM PST by ChicagoConservative27

Senator Michael Bennet (D-CO) said Thursday on MSNBC’s “Andrea Mitchell Reports” that President Joe Biden should not be held responsible for “transnational gangs that are smuggling people to the border of the United States.”

Co-host Andrea Mitchell said, “It’s one thing to spend more money on the border, the president was agreeing with that in his supplemental proposal but to try to resolve decades and decades of disagreements over fundamental border policy at the risk of not funding Israel and/or Ukraine, that doesn’t make sense, does it?”

Bennet said, “I think that doesn’t make much sense. We shouldn’t be doing it in the course of this negotiation. I was part of the gang of eight in 2013 working with John McCain and others to write the last immigration bill. It was bipartisan, it passed this place with 68 votes. That’s a massive bipartisan vote. Unfortunately, it was stopped, it was vetoed by the Freedom Caucus in the House.”

Biden created the market. The gangs are supplying the product.

It’s Biden’s fault that he does nothing to stop it.

I hate to admit but Senator Michael Bennet (D-CO) is absolutely correct that it is NOT Biden’s fault that international actors are smuggling people TO our southern border.

HOWEVER, it is ABSOLUTELY Biden’s fault that they are ALLOWED TO CROSS THE BORDER!!!!!

FJB!!

It’s Biden’s fault they get in and stay here, and are practically given the ‘key to the city’.

Then why wasn’t it happening to this extent when Trump was in office?

But if Trump was still president, wouldn’t it be his fault? And if the president isn’t responsible, why do we pay for the services of ICE, TSA, the Border Patrol and all of the other agencies with overlapping responsibilities? Who DO they report to? And aren’t they responsible? And why are these responsibilities dependent on who’s party is power?

It’s Biden’s fault that the border is so porous and that these miscreants are allowed to enter without impedance.

Enabler

I get the vision of a 500lb guy with a partner that picks up 10 hamburgers, a pizza and a diet coke to bring home for his dinner because the guy can’t move, then the partner says, “Its not my fault.”

Shut down all trade with Mexico.

Mexico will stop allowing ships, trains and buses from delivering people to Mexico to end up here and will stop allowing them to walk through from other countries real quick when they can no longer build automotive engines and components for us or sell their produce to us.

It’s not like we are a country with a standing military, or anything. If we had one of those, like all other countries do, then of course things would be very different, and thugs and cartels wouldn’t dare try to overrun our borders. They’d be crazy to even try. Suicidal like.

...wow, I didn’t realize that Catholic Charity services and Lutheran Social Services ( who are getting millions to funnel and bus illegals to the southern border) were international “gangs”... I’m just surprised by the vast number of Chinese military aged unaccompanied men coming across and wonder if they are tied to the Chinese Bioweapons labs? Inquiring minds ae curious.... ymmv
