Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko has told Der Spiegel that Ukraine is moving towards authoritarianism, seemingly making a veiled criticism of President Volodymyr Zelensky.
"At some point we will no longer be any different from Russia, where everything depends on the whim of one man," the former heavyweight boxing champion said in a Dec. 1 interview.
Despite being the mayor of Ukraine's capital, Klitschko said he hasn't talked to Zelensky since the full-scale invasion began.

If one lists all the actions by Zelensky and removed the country and asked somehow what type of leader Zelensky is, the answer would be a dictator.

IMO “the rub” with Ukraine is they aren’t holding elections, even though they control the vast majority of Ukrainian territory.
Maybe, they’re scared what the results would be.
Maybe, with the amount of migration out of Ukraine it’s logistically impossible, but it seems odd that a war over a sovereign *independent Ukrainian democracy, doesn’t have one of the main features of a democracy:
“Elections.”
*Ukraine isn’t independent, they were just trading their dependency on Russia for dependency on the USA & EU.
