Except as provided in paragraph (2) or (4), it shall be unlawful for any person to import, sell, manu- facture, transfer, receive, or possess, in or affecting inter- state or foreign commerce

Maybe I just lack imagination but I find it hard to imagine how a firearm in my possession could effect interstate or foreign commerce.

Socialism will brook no challenges to its authority. But I am not a lawyer. After all the USSC found that a farmer growing corn on his own land and feeding it to his own livestock was effecting interstate commerce almost 90 years ago.

Socialist will brook no challenges to its authority.

This sounds like it would effect everything except muskets and revolvers.

As for the "...in or affecting inter- state or foreign commerce..."

It sure sounds to me like they intend to leverage the Commerce Clause and try to make their unconstitutional acts appear "constitutional".
