I recently saw a report on the new mega lithium deposits in Nevada, and the left is organizing to stop mining there, and recruiting the tribes to help. Suddenly the tribes have discovered that it’s sacred land.

Conveniently sacred now that it has the potential to generate royalties and income streams for the tribes. They’re probably just setting up a negotiation framework to extract major money out of the leases.
