Nicaraguan police have charged the director of the local Miss Universe franchise with conspiracy, treason, money laundering and spreading fake news as part of a plot to overthrow the government, weeks after the Central American nation’s first victory in the pageant.
Karen Celebertti and two others have been accused of participating in “terrorist actions of a failed coup attempt” in 2018, when Nicaraguans protested against President Daniel Ortega’s attempted reforms to the country’s social security system.

Ortega is basically going to steal all of the social security and opposing it makes one a terrorist.

Hey, it makes as much sense as the other accusations against him by our kangaroo courts.
Intriguing claim, yet when you strip it down to its bare components the story becomes even more interesting.

Actually she is involved in this. She apparently participated n some protest in 2018. Now married and won the Miss Universe a couple of weeks ago. She is in NYC, but her husband and son were arrested. The son cannot be more than 3 years old.

Apparently the most busted name in news does not like any... competition.
Recall how Ortega seized the villas of capitalists as the contras were about to depose him. Recall how Kennedy and Dodd fought Reagan to defend the communist regime. Ortega has been a very successful communist by avoiding being strung up by his heels all these years.
