After a California grand jury handed down an indictment of first son Hunter Biden, political analysts predicted the bombshell would put President Biden in a self-constructed "trap" after he again claimed allegations he was in influence-peddling cahoots with his brother and son were "lies."
A grand jury empaneled in the Central District of California — which comprises Los Angeles — handed down an indictment against Hunter Biden.
"I think a lot of people felt… that David Weiss was going to let these charges skate and Hunter Biden would never be held accountable for making millions of dollars overseas. And a lot of people will say that was inappropriate," former Rep. Sean Duffy, R-Wis., said.

I think is baloney. Gives him an excuse to not testify in congress, and Weiss can still slow roll any indictment.

It’s DOJ saying they’re such good Law Dogs going after Hunter that no one can question their impartiality when they drop the hammer on Trump.
Every move the Elites make is to consolidate power and terminate their opposition.
But his name and reputation can be tarnished, unquestionably, for all time. Historians have begun to look at Nixon with kinder eyes. On a level playing field, Biden will not be so fortunate.
And Republicans will forever have the Joe Biden albatross to hang on the Dems' neck.

Maybe but the 2024 will be a contest between the biden fraud machine and the electorate which is rapidly away from him and the splintering of the democrat party.

The big triumph for the democrat fraud machine will be at the local and state level. You can bet that all the illegals coming over the border are being sent to places where republicans win by small margins. just a few illegals can change that. The illegals are also being sent to places where democrats win by small margins. illegals will keep the democrats from losing those.

No. This was the gist of Weiss not being given special powers previously. He could only bring cases that were properly venued in the District of Delaware. With those powers now in place he can bring actions in any district, that is, in any state
you’r right. It is a ploy that they will use to prevent public testimony and maybe a deposition. He will be able to use the 5th Ammendment.
That probably is not a good idea but it is all they have left to obscure the truth.
My guess is that Biden comes down with some ailment to resign or withdraw from the election.
