President Biden and members of his administration met Wednesday at the White House with families of American hostages held by Hamas in Gaza.
After the meeting, the families spoke to reporters, holding photos of their loved ones, and expressed confidence that the administration would work tirelessly to bring their family members home.
“We met today with President Biden and other people from the administration. It was a terrific, terrific meeting and conversation,” said Jonathan Dekel-Chen, whose 35-year-old son was kidnapped from his kibbutz on Oct. 7, at the start of his remarks.

Did he commiserate with them by telling about the time he lost the T.V. remote control?
Did he tell them about his son Beau, who was captured by Hamas and tortured to death?
Like several have said here, most Jews will probably go ahead and vote for Biden, or whomever the democrats nominate. It’s inconceivable to me, but it is what it is.
Or sniff their kids?
Well OK, but really what’s the point?
don’t know- but i’m sure he spoke incessantly about Bo, who was killed in iraq after he was kidnapped.
All these poor people have to know is, never underestimate Joe’s ability to mess things up..
how many times did he look at his watch?
Did he tell them about the time a Computer repair shop held hid son’s laptop and he couldn’t get it back?
These poor people are clinging to any hope they can. Of course they are going to speak positively. They have no choice
That was such a traumatizing incident, he hasn't been able to think straight since then.
Probably asked them for money to advocate for the release of their family members.

The subject matter alone disqualifies “terrific” as an accurate description. Used twice screams, “believe the lie”.
Sickened for the family and friends of the victims.

Agree..little late biden. Surprised he didn't say, “No comment”...biden could care less about the hostages. He's too busy packing for his next vacation.
