It’s not personal.
It’s morality.
Alleged conservatives claim that moral and logic mantle. So do leftists, but their behavior is patently amoral and confused that it’s not even worth discussing.
The morality here isn’t necessarily the gender of the actors. It’s the act and the location. Filming sexual activity on tables at the place of work is wrong on dozens of levels.
A consistent conservative would find the act and location abhorrent. End of story. The fact that it’s two guys is PART of this ugly cake of immorality.
BUUUUT (no pun intended) a bigly number of comments are focused on the gay dimension. They’re making the gayness THE immoral component.
In contrast, I’ve seen plenty of threads on heterosexual deviancy (teachers with students, “hot” politicians on OnlyFans sites, etc.) where the level of righteous indignation is negligible. If it wuz two guys, it’d be like night and day.
The inconsistency of morality and reason has been with us since Eden, and it’s been rising for some time. It really jumped during the pandemic, with the riots and then the mandates. Indeed, a number of people make such absurd comments about the races around here that it’s easy to see why the left slimes the right effortlessly.
