“...embracing each other in love”. ???? Is that what fudge-packing now symbolizes?
The problem is with the English language. English uses the word “love” to cover many different meanings. The Greeks had a number of different words that could be used for things we call “love.” Check this out:

Progressives today use “love” to cover a lot of their behavior because Americans are accustomed to thinking in English. Christian “love” is not the same thing as, for example, rutting like livestock, but you can fool many Americans by saying they are both “love.”
