Appeals court halts ruling that Border Patrol can legally cut Texas’ border concertina wire

Less than a week after a Del Rio-based federal judge ruled against Texas in the ongoing fight over the state’s razor wire, the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals paused that decision while it reviews the case.

The 5th Circuit Court of Appeals on Monday temporarily halted a lower court order that gave Border Patrol agents legal cover to continue cutting concertina wire that Texas has installed on the banks of the Rio Grande.

U.S. District Judge Alia Moses of Del Rio on Wednesday ruled against Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton’s office, which wanted the judge to order Border Patrol agents to stop cutting the wire. Moses said Texas didn’t provide enough evidence to show the federal government has violated the law, but she criticized the federal government’s immigration policy in general.

Paxton’s office appealed the order the following day, and on Monday the New Orleans-based appeals court issued a stay on Moses’ ruling and gave the Biden administration until Friday to respond.

“..Meyorkas will tell them to do it anyway...”

Perhaps that will be the catalyst that ignites the shooting to start.
People and Texas have had enough of Meyorkas and FJB.

If they want to cut it, go right ahead.

The smaller sections might just sink in-place and will tangle in legs and feet, plus now it can’t be seen.

Who knows, there might be unaccounted for sections scattered along the riverbed in “strategic locations.”

Why, they could be stuck in the mud for years.

But don’t look at Texas, it was the feds that cut it.

Let me be clear, Border Patrol agents do not want to cut the wire, they want the wire and Trumps wall. They want operational control of the border just like the law says.

They are being forced to do these unethical operations because their bosses in CBP and DHS ordered them to. I hope they get support from the courts so they can tell the DHS brass to stuff it.

BTW Border Patrol brass don't want them cutting the wire either, they just can't say it publicly or they will end up manning a single man sub-station in the Aleutian Islands.

So they care more about their cushy government jobs than the country they are supposedly serving? Good to know.

It would appear that, at some point soon, if this country is to be saved, then the shooting will have to start. What's the alternative?

All that has to happen is for people to STOP processing illegals. All that does is give them documentation.

It would be cheaper to fly the illegals to New York and put them up in the best hotels then send them around the country.

The reason they don’t do that is the ‘processing’ is going to be used to make them legal - AND this way the cartels know who came in and who owes them money. Hand in glove... they’re working together.

Any Border Patrol Agent caught cutting the Texas Wire should be hanged on sight. Harsh Yes.

Maybe Texas should install Land Mines instead. It would be a hoot watching Border Agents try to clear the minefields.

All of this bluster over the limp-wristed effort to impeach Biden on the Hunter/corruption thing (while far more legitimate and better documented than ANY of the impeachment charges against Trump) - the REAL impeachable offense - the one that should have been pushed from day 1 - is TREASON - Biden policies opened the floodgates of a very real INVASION across our Southern border. TREASON is the #1 most egregious offense any elected (even fake elected like Biden) can be charged with - and the current Southern border crisis is 100% TREASON. Period. Biden should not only be impeached, but arrested and tried for the crime in criminal court. And every US Representative, US Senator, and anyone in the DOJ or Homeland Security that has carried out the UNLAWFUL orders that have aided the invasion should ALL be tried for treason.

Illegal under the NFA and subsequent laws. Unfortunately.

One of the things that Abbott’s admin is doing is gaming out solutions and looking for loopholes and boundaries in what they can get away with just short of giving the Biden Admin enough justification to raid the Texas state government and imprison everyone in power. This is part of why Texas isn’t moving as fast as many here would like - but they’re overlooking that Texas is moving at all, unlike most of the other border states, and that unlike Arizona’s prior (more hastily conceived) measures, the Administration has found that there isn’t much of anything they can do legally to stop most of what Texas is doing.

This alone should be grounds enough to kick Biden off the ballot.

Just slap handcuffs on anyone damaging State property and let the criminal courts deal with it.

Its hard to serve your country if your unemployed. I guess they could all resign in mass as a protest. I'm sure the Biden admin would be happy to replace them with BLM, Antifa, Harvard grads or illegal aliens.

If they are going to act like BLM, we might as well have the real thing. Border Control is assisting illegals getting into the country. They ARE the problem.
