I understand that they are on standby. Ground is soft and they’ll bog down they are so heavy. That is why they are having problem with the leopards, etc. They have to run them on roads and the Russians just sit back and monitor the roads and when the dumb Ukrainians run them down the roads they pick them off.

As usual, the fantasy is that the Ukrainians could run offensive operations without complete air cover. They found out the hard way.

“Full air cover” would have only added lawn darts to a train wreck.

They haven’t yet been sent.

The $$ was allocated (”printed”) to refurbish 31 downgraded armor M1s iirc and the work is ongoing.

Air cover is thee number one priority to an offensive operation.
Anyone who thinks otherwise is an idiot.

The Ukies found out the hard way.

That is why this conflict has gone the way it has. The Russians sat back and let them punch themselves into oblivion.

Probably guarding the Polish border, as far from the front lines as possible.

More captured western equipment $$$$$$ added everyday….for all the world to see.

….the Ukies are reported to not fielding the M1’s, presumably being held back till the weather ( mud) improves. There are also reports the Bidenites are afraid of them ending up in Moscow’s museum….our M1’s do not perform to well in the current conditions, we know it, they know it, everyone is just waiting for the first one to stick its nose out…..I prefer they get one abandoned in the mud.

And some of the 5000 Russian tanks destroyed in Ukraine are being mockingly exposed in Kiev….

This opinion wasn’t shared by Pentagon which planned the operation. Aircraft is the most vulnerable piece on modern battlefield.

With the amount of Leopards, M113’s, Strykers, MRAPS, and Bradley’s being destroyed by Vlad, they are performing very poorly. Some say it’s the Ukie crews inability, but face it - Vlads manufacturing 5,000 drones a month and any armor has a very low survival rate.

Our M1 is heavy ( 65 tons plus), huge silhouette, not designed for Ukie field conditions….they aren’t fighting the bad guys in the sand box anymore.

If they’ve arrived, they are likely being held in reserve. The current tactical situation terrain and weather may not be optimal for armor. Tanks (including the M1) are best employed as part of a combined-arms team, which doesn’t seem to be a UA capability at present. Rumor has it, some UA tankers jumping from Soviet era systems to the Abrams were having difficulties in transition (to even the Monkey Models). I imagine they haven’t lost any yet, or they would be sitting in Red Square as trophies.

The M1 was designed to fight the Russians in Central Europe. The same enemy, equipment and terrain/weather. The key to success in armored operations is crew-level proficiency and combined arms employment (infantry support, Artillery, Aviation, etc...). Neither of these appear to be strong suits of the UA.

This pentagon? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! You got to be kidding.

Without air cover, you get no fuckin place on a battle field.

BTW..drones are aircraft, or is it of your opinion that drones are not?

It is amazing the people are on this forum.
